Nong and Jimmy has been well renowned for their BBQ cockles and fresh crabs, the OMG tom yam soup, the super yummy fried rice and snacks such as fried “Yau Char Kwai” that attracted food goers from all walks of life who packed the restaurant as early as 6pm!

Go early to avoid the crowd, bring along an empty stomach; be prepared for MC in case your tummy gets upset the next day! Nevertheless Nong and Jimmy Thai BBQ restaurant has indeed proven its name and the Thai Cuisines served here are pretty close to the ones you find in Thailand! :P

As starters, we had the Thai deep fried crullers with pandan kaya which were freshly fried and served hot upon ordering...... Beware not to overstuff yourself with these delicious yau char kwai as you'll be taking one piece after another without realizing and soon will have no space for other food... LOL! :P

The BBQ Cockles... You get a nice smoky flavor and dipping it into the peanut sauce just made it tasted better! I never fancy cockles... but you can never say no to these!! Try and have no regrets! :P

Then came the Tom Yam soup with assorted seafood and it tasted closest to the authentic Thai Tom Yam in town so far!!!!! Very very spicy! *slurrpppp*

The Thai Chili Lala wasn't one of the stars that night... but it was ok; nothing fantastic... you can skip this dish if you wish too...

Here comes the Steamed Thai Style Fish with Lemongrass and Chili! The soup was sourish and ohhh soo spicy! Nice! :)
